September 2026 Samsara Safety Scores are in, and our drivers delivered. 🎉

Safety is more than a metric at Safeway Logistics. It reflects the discipline, professionalism, and care our drivers bring to every mile they travel. This month, we’re proud to recognize the OTR and straight truck drivers who posted outstanding scores.

OTR drivers: Joseph McFadden, Eddie Rhue, Carl Yeagle, Greg Henderson, and Travis Graves each earned a perfect 100. Doug Bustillo, Robert Bryant, James Robertson, Phil Shuart, Rowdy Royall, Brian Kitson, and Illya Hubbard all scored a 99.

Straight truck drivers: Michael Sheets and Alvin Perry both posted a strong 99 to round out the straight truck fleet.

September 2026 Best MPG results are in, and our drivers are setting the standard for fuel efficiency. 🎉

Maximizing miles per gallon takes consistent technique, smart driving habits, and a genuine commitment to operating at a high level every single day. These drivers led the way in September.

OTR drivers: Doug Bustillo topped the list at 8.37 mpg, followed by Brian Kitson (8.30), Alfred Wesby (8.29), Christy Oldham (8.27), Sidney Wood (8.13), Kautski Janvier (8.12), and Eddie Rhue (8.01).

Straight truck drivers: Alvin Perry led the way at 11.90 mpg, with Robert Martin (11.20), Scott Gray (10.93), and James Rogers (10.90) all putting up impressive numbers.
