*6 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO AT AN ALL-INCLUSIVE*

You paid for the vacation. Make sure you actually take advantage of it.

1. Assume the spa is free.
Your meals and drinks might be included… but that massage probably isn’t. Check before you book.

2. Only eat at the buffet.
The specialty restaurants are often one of the best parts of the resort. Just check if reservations are required.

3. Skip the fitness classes.
You don’t have to “work out.” But a beach yoga class, aqua fitness or sunrise stretch? That’s a vacation activity.

4. Walk into a restaurant without a reservation.
Nothing kills the vacation vibe faster than hearing, “Sorry, we’re fully booked.” Make those reservations early.

5. Say no to the water sports equipment.
Kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear and more may already be included. Use them!

6. Drink too much on night one.
Unlimited drinks does NOT mean unlimited consequences. 😂 Pace yourself. You still have several days of vacation left.

Blend in and enjoy the experience with my go to tips that I share with friends and teach my family.

**1. Keep your voice down.**
Americans tend to speak louder than locals. Matching the volume around you helps you blend in.

**2. Skip the athletic wear.**
Leave the leggings and oversized sports tees for the gym. Europeans generally dress a bit more polished, even for casual outings.

**3. Learn a few local phrases.**
A simple “hello,” “please,” and “thank you” in the local language goes a long way and shows respect.

**4. Don’t expect free refills or lots of ice.**
Ordering water? Ask if you want still or sparkling—and don’t be surprised if your drink comes with just a couple of ice cubes.

**5. Slow down and enjoy the experience.**
Europe isn’t about rushing from attraction to attraction. Take your time, linger over meals, and embrace the local pace.
