Oklahoma Enforcement Arrests 130 Truck Drivers
A three-day enforcement operation at the Beckham County Port of Entry led to the arrest of 130 truck drivers for various violations. The effort was carried out by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The sweep targeted credential checks, safety compliance, and commercial trucks licensed and registered in California. With nearly 1.4 million trucks crossing the Beckham County checkpoint in one year, officials said the location was a key focus.
The operation highlights the growing emphasis on highway safety and new federal rules affecting CDL issuance. Officials say these efforts are meant to keep unsafe drivers off the road and protect all motorists.

I.C.E Enforcement at the scales in Oklahoma. They removed 130 drivers the other day and 90 yesterday. Illegals with a non domiciled CDLs and other various violations.

On July 14, 2025, FMCSA issued a temporary waiver allowing CDL and CLP holders, as well as motor carriers, to rely on a paper copy of the medical examiner’s certificate as proof of medical certification for up to 15 days after issuance.

Today, we modified that waiver: CDL and CLP holders, along with motor carriers, may now rely on the paper certificate for up to 60 days after the date it was issued.

This update provides drivers and carriers additional flexibility while ensuring compliance with medical certification requirements.
