Now that the weekend is over and the dust has settled, we’d like to express our sincerest gratitude to Shane Hanchey (and Taylor) for allowing us to be a part of the 2026 Annual Shane Hanchey Invitational. Events like these are exactly why we do what we do. Giving back to our community, the western/agriculture industry and the youth is what we’re most passionate about. All weekend Shane, Taylor, and their entire team made it very clear that their focus was on the next generation of rodeo athletes, kids and horses, alike. It’s an absolute honor for us to have partnerships with people like Shane and Taylor and we look forward to many more years and events working together. We hope all the spectators and contestants enjoyed the weekend as much as we did. See y’all next year!🟣⭐️

Events like the SHI are truly so important to us! Not only does this event allow us to support the youth, it also allows us to support the next crop of equine athletes! Both the kids and the horses are the future of our sport and the western way of life so we must provide events for them to learn, grow and succeed! We’re so proud to be partners with Shane and his team and can’t wait to see everyone in Waco!

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of the Matriarch of our family and of Husky Trailer. Zelda Faye Biedrzycki, 92, passed away February 4, 2026.

Mrs. Zelda founded Husky Trailer Manufacturing Co., of Houston , later to be become known as Husky Trailer Parts Co., in 1962 along side her husband, Al. Zelda took great pride in her work at Husky and enjoyed helping customers at the front counter; selling hubs, bearings, and any other parts they needed. Zelda loved Husky and everything it was built on. After 40 years of service, she would later retire in the early 2000’s.

When Zelda wasn’t working, you could find her planting flowers in her yard, doing puzzles, quilting, or playing bingo. But there was nothing she loved more than a good game of bowling!

Zelda is survived by her 2 children, 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren. Though she will be missed, her legacy will live on.

Services for Mrs. Zelda Faye Biedrzycki will be held February 11, 2026 at Brookside Funeral Home.
