Logan County TNR Project

Join the fight to protect the free roaming kitty population...join our monthly meeting--See EVENTS It is not an immediate fix.

Trap-Neuter-Return is a humane approach to managing the overpopulation of feral cats. It will take time, resources and lots of effort--but TNR programs are proving to be the one solution to the feral cat overpopulation problem that really works. Those of us doing this work are VOLUNTEERS and, in order to better manage our time, we have made the following changes to clarify what we do, how we operate and how we will respond to messages. Please be aware, we ARE NOT a cat/kitten rescue--so we will not take cats or kittens you have or that you have found. Our mission is to TRAP feral cats, get them NEUTERED [and spayed], and RETURN them to the location they were trapped. We do offer transportation services to cat owners who are willing to pay the spay/neuter costs and a small transportation fee. Contact us via the email address listed below. Facebook messages are no longer being answered. If you are interested in contacting us, please send an email to [email protected] and we will respond to you as quickly as possible. Unless directed to do so, please do not call or leave voice mails--unsolicited phone calls may not be returned. Please be aware we have a very long list of feral cat colonies and locations that we are working to get TNR’d, which can only be done as funds are available. The surgeries are not free--the cost of spaying/neutering these cats come from donations, fundraisers, gifts and out of the pockets of those of us doing this work—and we are all volunteers. Your support and donations are greatly appreciated. Again, our preferred method of communication is via email at:

🐾 The Logan County Cat Colony Caregivers need help. 🐾

The people caring for community cat colonies are doing everything they can, but the rising cost of cat food is making it harder and harder to keep up. Many are feeding multiple cats every single day, and the need is constant.

Right now, we could really use donations of dry and wet cat food, as well as gift cards to Walmart, Tractor Supply, Kroger, or other stores that sell cat food, to help support them.

These caregivers are the quiet heroes behind the scenes. They make sure the cats have food, watch over them, and help us identify cats that still need to be spayed or neutered.

If you would like to help, please message Logan County TNR Project on Facebook.

Gift cards or donations can also be mailed to:

Logan County TNR Project
P.O. Box 102
Huntsville, Ohio 43324

Every bag of food. Every can. Every gift card.
It all makes a difference.

Message us for drop-off locations, or we will come pick up!!

Thank you for helping us care for the cats — and the people caring for them. ❤️

A Quick Reminder About Calling and Texting

We understand that people are worried about the cats in their care and want help as quickly as possible. We care about them too.

However, texting us at 4:40 AM or calling at 6:18 AM is inappropriate.

Logan County TNR is not a veterinary clinic or an emergency service. We are a small volunteer organization working to fix as many community cats as possible.

There are thousands of cats that need to be fixed, and we have limited volunteers, funding, and veterinary appointments. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Please contact us during normal daytime hours by messaging us on Facebook at:

https://www.facebook.com/logancountytnrproject

Or by emailing:

[email protected]

We will respond as we are able. Please allow time for a response. Our volunteers need rest too.

Thank you for respecting our volunteers and the work they do.
