Several aspects of the coupe are customizable, so the company created a digital, touchscreen-based configurator to let clients design their car without leaving their home."

Am I the only one thinking, "so what!" I can go to the Ford or Tesla websites and do this for almost any vehicle. The fact that the car can be viewed in virtual landscapes is not a big deal.

Lotus Cars has today unveiled the Exige Cup 430 – a car it describes as the most extreme Lotus Exige model variant ever conceived.

Sitting midship in the Exige Cup 430 is Lotus’ Toyota-sourced 3.5-liter supercharged V6 engine, which is making a stout 430 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque in this application. It’s connected to a six-speed manual transmission (with an achingly cool exposed linkage) sending power to the rear wheels. Lotus claims it will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and go on to reach a top speed of 180 mph.
