not only our name; it is the standard we hold ourselves to. These are just a few of the many reasons in which "We bring more to the table. Superior traces its roots as a grower/shipper of Michigan vegetables to 1918. Originally a family owned company, Superior has grown over the last 95+ years into a diversified produce shipping, packing, repacking and sales organization. Superior originally focused on celery, grown by the Blauwkamp family. With incorporation and expansion in the early sixties, the Blauwkamp family began handling other local growers commodities. A 30,000 square foot distribution center soon followed. Sales increased throughout the Midwest and Southern destination points. Superior enlarged its capabilities to include packaging of celery for private labels and its own "Superior" label. In 1993, Randy VandeGuchte started Superior Sales, Inc. With a vision of expanding sales, Superior handled more commodities, attracting additional customers, and provided a high degree of product quality, professionalism and customer service. In 1994, Superior Sales moved into a state-of-the-art distribution center enabling us to provide our customer more options and services. With the addition of two locations, Salinas and Kingsburg, Superior Sales continues to be an industry leader.

Superior Sales, Inc. is one of the most diversified produce shipping, packing, repacking and sales organization in Michigan and beyond. We take pride in the fresh produce we sell. We are in need of a highly motivated, trustworthy, and positive employee that is willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Due to the busy Summer/Fall season, no vacation time is permitted from July 1 to October 15th each year. You will also have some overtime during this time of year as well. PLEASE only serious candidates apply:

Responsibilities
Processing Accounts Payable

Working to ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory

Preparing various analytical reports using Excel

Reconciling accounts in a timely manner

Maintaining accurate and timely reporting of activities to various vendors

Provide assistance and support to company personnel

Working with vendors and customers to resolve inquiries or discrepancies

Various other projects as assigned

Weekend work will be required – rotating schedule on Saturdays only at front desk

Skills
Previous experience in all areas of accounting at least 2 years

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Experience in working in Excel as well as all Microsoft applications

Excellent oral and written communication

Strong analytical skills

Strong organization skills

Self-motivated and dependable with little supervision needed

Logical and sensible

Experience in Outlook

Knowledge in Famous software also a plus but not mandatory
