OWNER OPERATORS — THE TIME IS NOW.

We’re excited to officially launch the Trucking Proz Owner Operator Program, and we’ve built it with one goal in mind:

Create a program where owner operators have a real opportunity to WIN.
Over the past several months, Trucking Proz has received a significant number of new customer awards, expanding our freight network throughout the Midwest, South, and Southwest — with more growth coming.

That means more opportunity. More consistency. More choices.

We’ve built two models for success:
1. Run Our Customer Freight
Take advantage of our growing customer base and established lanes. Our percentage-based program allows you to benefit from strong revenue while we help protect your operation with fuel surcharge revenue and fuel purchasing rebates.

2. Chase Revenue in the Spot Market
Want more flexibility? We can work the market and target high-revenue loads and opportunities, allowing you to operate where the money makes sense.

Either way, our goal is simple: help you maximize revenue, control costs, and keep your truck moving.

✅ Growing customer freight
✅ Midwest, South & Southwest lanes
✅ 70% of linehaul + fuel surcharge
✅ Fuel purchasing rebate program
✅ Controlled deadhead
✅ Strong weekly mileage opportunities
✅ Customer freight OR spot-market flexibility
✅ A team that understands trucking and understands owner operators

We believe timing matters in this industry.

If you’ve been thinking about making a change, don’t wait until everyone else sees the market changing. The time to position yourself is NOW.

Bring your truck. Bring your work ethic.
We’ll bring the freight, the relationships, and a program built to help you succeed.

🇺🇸 Two models. One goal: YOUR SUCCESS.

Here’s a curveball for you that might make you change your mind…… Tesla Trucks would most likely have to be dedicated day trips, home in the evenings and the weekends.

Now it’s your answer? 🤔

WHY SLOWING DOWN A CLASS 8 TRUCK SAVES FUEL
No combination of gearing, transmission ratios, or engine torque can eliminate the extra energy a truck needs to travel faster.
At highway speeds, a tractor-trailer uses a great deal of energy pushing air out of its way. The faster it goes, the harder that becomes. Aerodynamic drag rises roughly with the square of speed.
For the same truck on level ground in still air, traveling at 72 mph takes about 44% more aerodynamic energy per mile than traveling at 60 mph. Slowing from 72 to 60 mph reduces the energy spent fighting the air by about 31%. That does not mean total fuel consumption drops 31%, because tires, hills, accessories, and other losses still use energy.
Good powertrain specifications absolutely matter. A well-chosen rear axle ratio and transmission can keep the engine operating efficiently and improve fuel economy. But gearing only changes how efficiently the engine produces the power needed at the wheels. It cannot make the aerodynamic drag at 72 mph disappear.
Here’s the simple distinction:
• Better gearing helps the engine do the required work more efficiently.
• Lower speed reduces the amount of work required to travel each mile.
There are practical limits. Slowing too much may put an engine in an inefficient operating range, cause repeated downshifts on hills, or increase the effect of equipment that burns fuel by the hour. The best cruise speed depends on the truck, load, terrain, and schedule.
But for a Class 8 truck running highway miles, there is no magic axle ratio that cancels the physics of speed. Spec the truck well, drive it where the engine operates efficiently, and recognize that a lower highway speed gives it a major opportunity to use less fuel per mile.
