Not to ruin the surprise, but yes, you can see Canada from the flight.

On really clear days you can see the Sleeping Giant… but we never get close enough to wake ‘em. Lake Superior has enough moods already.

Isle Royale Seaplanes is offering a bird’s eye view of the Keweenaw Peninsula’s spectacular autumn beauty.

The seaplanes take off from Lake Superior off the shore of Hubbell and rise above the rugged peninsula, revealing a kaleidoscope of brilliant orange, red and yellow. Color tours will run Sept. 24 to Oct. 14. Reservations are open now. Visit Keweenaw will be giving away free tickets via social media.
