Meet Mauricio Marin, Pilot in Command and Check Airman at ENG Aviation Group. ✈️
Mauricio plays a key role in leading our Houston base, bringing steady leadership, deep aviation experience, and a lifelong passion for flight to the ENG team.
With more than 8,700 total flight hours, his career has included flying brand-new Boeing 787 aircraft into service, serving as Captain on the Airbus A320, and operating in demanding conditions such as mountainous terrain, low visibility, adverse weather, and high-altitude airports.
Today, Mauricio flies the Citation 560XL, an aircraft he enjoys for its hands-on and rewarding flying experience. He also recently received his FAA approval as a Check Airman, allowing him to mentor, evaluate, and support the development of fellow pilots.
For Mauricio, aviation started early with RC airplanes, grew into paragliding, and became a career built around precision, curiosity, and purpose.
