Strengthening IAH for what comes next.

Mayor John Whitmire and Houston City Council approved $129.9 million in initial airport system funding for seven infrastructure projects designed to strengthen resilience, improve access and support continued growth.

The projects will improve parking, stormwater systems, utilities and access at IAH. No City General Fund dollars or local tax revenue will be used.

Concrete repairs on westbound Will Clayton Pkwy will result in lane closures starting Tuesday, Aug. 25, through Friday, Aug. 28, with the biggest impacts overnight.

Plan ahead or use JFK Blvd. as an alternate route.
