Texas TimeBuilders recognizes the need for aircraft in which young multi-engine pilots can continue to build P.I.C time in order to be qualified for hire by the Airlines. Our Twin Comanche is the lowest priced multi-engine fully equipped aircraft for this time building activity, and costs are minimized by our ME Instructor occupying the right seat. The timebuilding Pilot is able to log 100% P.I.C. time, and our MEI will instruct Crew Resource Management as the Airlines now require.

Finally! After an involved Annual process, COVID complications, an follow through on my Panel Upgrade decision, the Twin Comanche has emerged as a TAA qualified trainer for those wanting a multi-engine certificate. Photos are coming!

Time to update!
The Twin Comanche is still in the shop, completing the annual inspection and adding an Aspen E5 and JPI EDM 960. It appears to me (and my IA?) that the Plane will be out of the fresh annual on Nov 16, but that will depend NOT on my IA, but on the Avionics shop on LVJ.

Also, a word about future hourly cost of training. Texas TimeBuilders will honor the reduced rate I have hinted at - $325/hour once we emerge from Annual, until Jan 1, 2021. At that time, and with new operating costs to compare, we will adjust to a more realistic rate per our standard procedures. That will most likely be $425/hour as it was prior to Covid-19 onset last March.

Here is how I'm willing to turn my PROBLEM into your OPPORTUNITY! Due to the pandemic I have not had a new multi client in the Twin Comanche these past 5 weeks! I cannot long endure this situation.

Recognizing that most of my clients (you) get their multi add-on just prior to a known job opportunity, and the pandemic has caused these jobs to vaporize, I understand that THAT prime motivator has lessened considerably. So MY lack of flying, and YOUR desire to add onto your commercial rating might still get together if you are willing to talk about it and barter.

I will significantly lower my rate for the next 30 days (Aug 15 thru Sep 15) if you will commit to scheduling with me to finish promptly). How much will I lower my rates? I can't say, really, but I will do this for the first five clients coming my way! I really need someone seriously wanting the CMEL-I add-on, to make it worth my effort to justify this 'lean and mean' problem solving effort.

To all concerned: Texas TimeBuilders LLC, and my Twin Comanche N19VS, stopped operations at Third Coast Aviation at KEFD in October, 2019, after they really ripped me in a very expensive and inadequately supervised Annual on my plane, and then after I paid in full, they were LATE (a third time) paying me my previous week's flight per our contract. I am STILL suffering from the inadequate annual results, and will have nothing good to say about management at TCA. PM me if you want more information.
