There was a great turnout in support of Xylem Watermark this past Saturday by volunteers from Tideland Signal. Tideland employees were part of a larger group that pulled weeds and cleared brush from the banks of Buffalo Bayou in downtown Houston. Tideland releases SolaMAX-3, a Class 3 compact and highly efficient self-contained lantern.

April 8, 2015 - Tideland Signal Corporation, (Tideland) introduce the newest member to our popular best in class and highly efficient self-contained LED lantern product line. The SolaMAX-3 lantern contains some exciting features that have been designed to meet industry standards and deliver a 3NM range with an improved duty cycle, offering greater flexibility.

The SolaMAX-3 is a compact, highly efficient lantern comprising of a plastic body, polycarbonate lens and scratch resistant, tempered glass solar panels. Output is provided by a single LED. Exciting new features include IR programming and monitoring, capable of downloading data to a personal computer (PC). The standard unit is delivered with a 13Ah battery with options of 26Ah and 34Ah. A retractable carrying handle situated on the top provides ease of transport and allows for swift mounting installation. A magnetic On/Off switch for quick deployment and for storage maintenance check is also provided. An infrared controller is offered as an option. The IR controller may be used to program the unit including; flash code, light intensity, and sun-switch threshold.

Approved to ISO 9001:2008, Tideland specializes in the design and manufacture of aids to marine navigation.
