Westar Moving & Storage is a woman-owned minority moving company, that has been in business since 1997. Our office staff has over 180 years of experience in the transportation and moving industry. Our facility is a 22,000 square foot warehouse, military approved, built with concrete walls and is capable of storing vaults two high. This facility has a high-pressured water sprinkler system, and a 24

hour monitored alarm system. This dock high warehouse has withstood major floods and hurricanes, keeping everything in our care safe and dry. We use a state of the art software program for managing your relocation. You can count on Westar Moving & Storage when quality really counts. Remember, exceptional service is our standard. All Gave Some, Some Gave All
In honor of Veteran’s Day, Westar will be closed on Monday November 11. Our offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday November 12.

Westar will be closed on Monday October 14 in observance of Columbus Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday October 15.

Westar will be closed on Monday September 2 in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday September 3, 2024.

Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894.

Due to the imminent impact of Tropical Storm Beryl, Westar will be closed Monday and will update for Tuesday on Monday. We are closely monitoring the storm and will provide updates on our operations as more information becomes available.

We will keep our trucks off the roads Monday and be remotely monitoring the weather conditions. We plan for our next update early afternoon tomorrow. Ensuring the safety of our team and your household goods is our priority.

As of Friday, May 17th, Westar is currently without power due to inclement weather. We will return to the office on Monday, May 20, hopefully at full power or under the use of generators.
