We’re reaching out to share an important update regarding the unexpected shutdown of the Save This Life (STL) Microchip Registry. STL’s database has been unlinked from national registries, which means pets with STL microchips are currently untraceable if lost.

This issue affects microchips starting with the numbers 991 or 900164, leaving countless pets at risk of being separated from their families.

To address this urgent situation, our partners at BuddyID are stepping in to help. From now until February 28, 2025, BuddyID is offering free registration for STL microchips transferred to their registry. This ensures pets remain protected and traceable.

Here’s how you can take action:
If you or your clients have pets with STL microchips starting with 991 or 900164, they must be re-registered with a new database.
BuddyID makes it easy—have them call 800-434-2843 to switch their microchip to BuddyID at no cost.

Here's the explanation on why I can't buy the van back once Progressive officially declares it totaled.
The money goes to ford for the loan, I still owe 17,585.39 .
Once it's totalled a blue title would be issued... this means no insurance company will supply full coverage insurance. As a transporter, we must have full coverage to protect all the fur babies riding with us in case they get injured during an accident.
So that's the unfortunate truth.

I just wanted to share a heartfelt Thank you to everyone that has donated. "Thank you !"
The current funds will be used to pay our bills then to start the process of acquiring transportion to get back on the road. Our (Fluffy and I) goals have always been to save as many lives possible. By transporting Animals for Rescue groups to their out of state homes, this free up space for them to pull more off of the area shelters euthanasia list... this saves the ones they pull and the ones that would have been euthanasia for space. I'm just one part of the process. So, I ask everyone that has received their fur babies through our transport to share this fundraiser. Help us help them. Again, Thank you!

I know everyone is waiting for an update, here it is and it's not good.
After having the van for over a month at the mechanics and progressive agreeing to pay for the repairs (we have full coverage). Progressive has now decided to total the van out due to mileage. Now let me explain the only thing mechanically wrong was the air conditioner because the deer went through the condenser. Because of this decision I still will have no transportion and will still be making van payments. We have been fighting this decision but apparently we get no say in it. They towed the van back here (towed because they took it apart but didn't put it back together) and I have until Wednesday to get everything out of it before they come and remove it.
I'm very sorry to those that depended on us especially the animals.
We have no vehicle, no money , limited groceries and on the 29th no phone. Anyone that has a suggestion list them here or in a text message or I guess mail us a letter.

Lol, I finally got an update from the mechanic team. Here it is : Update: Repairs on your Ford are coming along nicely. We'll continue to keep you informed throughout the repair. Caliber Collision.

Sorry guys that's all I know. Other than progressive finally approved everything.

Van update:
The shop has everything disassembled BUT now are waiting on Progressive to approve the work before they can finish. Progressive is supposed to let them know by Monday... fingers crossed. I Do Not recommend Progressive!! Accident happened on July 2nd.
I'm feeling very frustrated as I know many of you are... hang in there.

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates. It took awhile to pay my phone bill. I won't have a van update until the 13th, then hopefully I'll have answers on how long it will take for the van repairs to be finished. I recommend if you have progressive full coverage insurance then use my experience to decide if you want to keep it.

We have the van scheduled for repairs. The 31st transport is canceled. I'll post a schedule once the repairs are closer to being done. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The transport for the 17th has been canceled.
Apparently, the Colorado mechanic did not put the van back together the right way. I'm working on getting everything redone the right way. I'm very sorry for all the inconveniences this causes. I just didn't want to take any chance with all the fur babies I transport. Plus, we are dealing with the lack of power from the storm. We did have it on for 24 hours but it's out again. Think positive thoughts and I will see you on the next transport. SHAY
