It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our Owner Operators.

John Parker was a beloved member of the team here and a friend to all. He was a kind hearted and joyful team member with an infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed and our deepest condolences go out to the Parker family.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, October 10, 2026, for a Celebration of Life Service, at 3:00 PM, with an hour of gathering prior, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.

Chris Helms Transportation has driving positions available! We are looking for experienced steel haulers and flatbed drivers. Operating all late model Kenworths and Peterbilts with 48-53 ft Flatbed Spreads, 6 Axle Sleds, and multi-axle B-Train Flatbeds. All trailers feature sliding tarp systems,Conestoga's, so no tarping by hand!

Drivers can earn up to $1500.00-$3000.00 each week, with weekends home. Candidates need to have a safe driving record, flatbed experience, steel hauling experience, and excellent safety habits. Depending on experience, we have training available. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your income and career in transportation. On Saturday, December 6th, we celebrated our 17th year in business at our annual company meeting and Christmas party. Our meeting focused on safe driving, professionalism, and best practices. Our team also chose a Company Driver of the Year (Spencer Gibson) and Owner Operator of the Year (Chuck Frear).
