We enjoy having people of all ages out to our ranch to learn about and interact with our Shires. Children 3 to 9 will have to have an additional person to lead their horse and spot them, so please let us know when you make reservations. We offer carriage rides, riding lessons, and trail rides. We have one family group out at one time. Families have the opportunity to meet, brush and give treats

to the animals. Rides are about an hour long, but most families are out here for 2 hours. Families with young children like to be able to pet chickens, geese, and donkeys in addition to the horses. On very warm days families have even wondered down to the Strawberry River to wade in the water and play in the sand. We try to make it an enjoyable experience for all people visiting our Shires! In the summer when it is hot, the horses are only available starting at 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning, or at 6:30 or 7:00 in the evening. Directions from Crown Point: Church Street West, past Churches, turn Right on Tri Lakes Road, Merge onto Twin Lakes Road, Turn Left onto Easy Street, Turn Left onto Strawberry. Go 2 miles until Strawberry T's with Riverview. Turn Left onto Riverview, go up hill, Turn Right onto Lookout, Turn Left onto Spring, Turn Right into our Driveway. DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS IF IT LOOKS DANGEROUS. NOT ALL ROADS GO THROUGH AS THEY SHOULD. We accept Cash only.

Summit's Valley Shire and Sport Horses specializes in breeding Shire and Sport Horses. Our Stallion, Sudden Creek Louis (Summit) is an upcoming 5 year old.

We offer Carriage rides, riding lessons, driving lessons and a variety of outside activities on our beautiful property along a full mile of The Strawberry River, just 3 miles from downtown Horseshoe Bend! On the edge of town but hidden away - a wonderful get away treasure.

Besides falling in love with the Shires and other farm animals, we have an abundance of wildlife, song and predatory birds. We say it is just Beautiful!
