A Sunday Morning Message from our Founder
This message was originally shared in our sister group, the HV Legacy Christian Community. I feel deeply that our service on the road and our faith community are intimately connected through our mission and God’s guiding hand.
On this blessed Sunday morning, I simply want to pause, offer this prayer of gratitude, and worship the God who faithfully provides all we need each day. We trust Him with every mile ahead and look forward to continuing to serve our wonderful Hudson Valley community with safety, excellence, and care.
A Prayer for Our Community, Our Work, and Our Daily Walk
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this day and for the purpose You have placed on each of our lives.
Lord, I ask that You use this Christian community and my daily work with Hudson Valley Legacy Transportation as instruments of Your peace and love. Every single day, You bring so many different individuals, families, and travelers across our path. I pray that in every ride, every conversation, and every interaction, You allow me to be a steady light in this world.
Guard my mouth and guide my steps. When days are long, traffic is heavy, or unexpected hurdles arise, help my words and reactions to be gracious, patient, and pleasing to You. Let people sense Your peace the moment they step into our vehicles or read a post in this group.
Remove any self-doubt or striving from my heart, and replace it with Your Holy Spirit. May others see less of me and more of You through my honesty, my work ethic, and my care for them.
Bless every person in this group tonight, bless our families, and keep our travels safe under Your wing. Use our daily labor—wherever You have placed us—as an offering of worship to You.
