We went holoholo up to Haleākala Summit to take a peek inside the crater.

It was such a beautiful day on the island of Maui.

We got to see some beautiful native plants- the famous and endemic, ahinahina (silver sword) and kūpaoa.

Looking forward to signing up to volunteer with for work days to preserve this sacred mauna (mountain) and all of its species!
