Today officially marks my first year renting GoBoats on the Homosassa River. Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and support, especially my husband, Rick. In one short year, over 200 GoBoats have hit the river, and I've even sold several along the way. I feel truly blessed. Thank you for making this dream come true; I still love what I do.

This is my GoBoat launch, this property is full of wild life. GoBoats help me connect with it. I am loving my retirement life.

Citrus County is one of the many special and unique wild places in the state of Florida. Close enough to Tampa and Orlando, and enough stores to be convenient to not leave town often - but small town and wild enough to get to see so much wildlife, experience tons of wonderful nature trails, and get a good taste of the nature coast.

Although we’ve been losing more and more nature every year due to irresponsible development, we are blessed to still have so much here. Homosassa itself is home to such a large amount of different species that it makes all of our natural areas here even more fascinating and important!

At least 250 different bird species, over 50 reptile/amphibian species, at LEAST 25 different notable species of mammals including manatees, dolphins, black bears, and bobcats for just a few examples, and NUMEROUS freshwater and saltwater species of fish and other aquatic life call Homosassa home.

Sitting in one spot on the river for 10 minutes you can already see so many different types of wildlife. You may not get completely clear and narrow waters like Weeki Wachee but you’ll get a wonderful wild experience and get to appreciate the beauty of what the Earth gives us! ❤️
