Besides finding a wide variety of plants at tomorrow's 🌺Plant Sale🌼, our Ceramics group has been working hard at glazing wall planters (and a few pots!) that will be for sale at the event. The Garden Club will be here tomorrow, Saturday, June 6 from 9am to 1pm. We hope to see you there!

Además de poder encontrar una gran variedad de plantas en la 🌺Venta de Plantas🌼 de mañana, nuestro grupo de cerámica ha estado trabajando duro para esmaltar macetas de pared (¡y algunas macetas pequeñas!) que estarán a la venta en el evento. Choo Choo! The display in our Learning Center has been crafted little by little over the last 12 years by our Model Train Club. It features many Holyoke landmarks, old and new, including representations of Mountain Park, Holyoke City Hall the Holyoke Public Library, and even Sullivan Metals! For Open House week, members also put out some antique trains from their personal collections for visitors to see. Enjoy the video of the trains rolling!

¡Chu-chu! La exposición de nuestro Centro de Aprendizaje ha sido creada poco a poco a lo largo de los últimos 12 años por nuestro Club de Maquetas de Trenes. En ella se pueden ver muchos lugares emblemáticos de Holyoke, tanto antiguos como modernos, incluyendo representaciones de Mountain Park, el Ayuntamiento de Holyoke, la Biblioteca Pública de Holyoke e incluso ¡Sullivan Metals! End-of-life doula and health educator Tre Bessette will be here today, Thursday, June 4, from 10am to 12pm as a part of our Open House. Musings on Mortality is her invitation to you to discuss some of the bigger questions that come up as we age and contemplate what is, what was, and what will be. After today, Tre will join us regularly for Musings on Mortality on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 3 to 5pm to keep the conversations going.

Tre Bessette, doula especializada en cuidados al final de la vida y educadora en salud, estará aquí hoy, jueves 4 de junio, de 10am a 12pm, como parte de nuestra jornada de puertas abiertas. Reflexiones sobre la Mortalidad es su invitación para que conversemos sobre algunas de las grandes preguntas que surgen a medida que envejecemos y contemplamos lo que es, lo que fue y lo que será. Head to Boston with us to go on a guided tour of the Massachusetts State House, and the Black Heritage Trail which explores the history of Boston's nineteenth-century Black community of Beacon Hill. Included in the trail is the Museum of African American History which was recently featured in the New York Time Summer Travel Checklist for America's 250th Birthday. Calling all model train enthusiasts! This Thursday is your chance to check out our model train display in all its glory. As part of our Open House, see the trains run through miniatures of some of your favorite Holyoke locales. Members of our Model Train Club have created replicas of City Hall, the Library, Mountain Park, and more. There's even a B-17 "Flying Fortress" bomber in the sky above the tracks. The group will also show off items from their personal collections to highlight their hobby. The group meets each Thursday at 12:30pm, and is always accepting new members.

¡Atención, aficionados al modelismo ferroviario! Este jueves tienen la oportunidad de admirar nuestra exposición de maquetas de trenes en todo su esplendor. Como parte de nuestra jornada de puertas abiertas, podrán ver los trenes circular por las maquetas de algunos de sus lugares favoritos de Holyoke. Los miembros de nuestro Club de Modelismo Ferroviario han creado réplicas del Ayuntamiento, la Biblioteca, Mountain Park y muchos otros lugares.
