Gluten-Free Labels Without Gluten-Free Kitchens: A Risk for Celiac Patients.

In Egypt, some food and snack brands add a gluten-free label without operating a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. This creates a serious risk of cross-contamination, which can be harmful for individuals with celiac disease.

Recently, I purchased gluten-free bread from that was labeled as such. Yesterday, I noticed they removed the label and added a note stating that cross-contamination could occur and traces of flour might be present in the bread.

Thank you, , for your honesty. Transparency matters because for celiac patients, even small traces of gluten can cause health issues.
