🇺🇸 Flag Day 🇺🇸

One thing we encounter often while helping older adults downsize and move is American flags—many of them folded and displayed in cases after being presented to families in honor of a veteran’s service.

These flags are never “just another item” to us. We take special care to protect and preserve them, and when we come across flags that are worn beyond repair, we make sure they are donated for proper retirement.

It’s a small way we honor the memories, service, and stories that matter so much to the families we serve.

The best part of our job isn’t the move. It’s moments like this. ❤️

Almost a year ago, this wonderful woman reached out to us because she knew she wanted to move from Rutland to Southgate in Shrewsbury—but she had a house full of belongings and simply didn’t know where to start.

While she had amazing support from her son and grandson, she needed a plan, guidance, and a team to help her through the process. Over the past year, we helped her sort, downsize, pack, prepare her home, and get settled into her next chapter.

We also had the pleasure of working alongside Elizabeth Callahan from MA Homes LLC, whose dedication, patience, and guidance helped make the entire transition as smooth as possible.

When our client walked into her new apartment and kept saying, “I’m going to cry,” we knew all the hard work had been worth it.

This is so much more than moving boxes. It’s helping people move forward with confidence, dignity, and peace of mind.
