A load can be booked while the next stop is still unplanned.

On September 29, Trucker Path announced that Safe Truck Parking had joined its reserved parking network, adding access to more than 5,750 spaces across 25 locations. These are spaces added to the booking network — not 5,750 newly built spaces.

For a small or midsize fleet, the practical question is how the stop fits the trip: where the driver can rest, how far the detour is, and what that means for the next pickup. Availability still needs to be checked for the actual route.

A re**er setpoint is the unit’s target. It does not prove the product was loaded at the required temperature. The 34°F shown in the carousel is an example, not a universal setting.

Before departure, follow the written load instructions: confirm the commodity, setpoint, operating mode, acceptable temperature range and airflow path. Measure or inspect the product only when those instructions require it. If anything does not match, document it and get written instructions before moving.

ATA's for-hire truck tonnage index moved only 0.1% in June. At the same time, U.S. truck-transportation employment was about 34,200 jobs lower in July 2026 than in July 2025.

The practical signal for small carriers: part of today's tighter market comes from capacity leaving the industry, not from a 2021-style surge in freight.
