Car cruise in this Saturday at the airport, 2:00PM to 6:00PM. Bring your own non-alcoholic beverage and food and enjoy the afternoon!

We had planned on a cookout, however, that would require a permit and we won't be able to make that work this time around.

Runway and taxiway markings turned out great! Prior to this project, they were faded and difficult to see.

The airport is now fully open, the markings project has been finished. No operational restrictions and the NOTAM has been cancelled.

Something extraordinary is landing at the Hillsdale Municipal Airport. This Sunday, September 13th, the airport terminal will officially transform into a public art gallery showcasing the brilliant work of local creators including artists David Youngman, Corrie Church and Ginger Moore, alongside exceptional photography by Jim Drews, Shaffer Photography, and Cassie Hambleton.This special gallery installation brings a vibrant touch of local culture right into the heart of our community's aviation space.

Visitors will have the chance to admire a stunning collection of works that celebrate regional talent, creative storytelling, and local perspectives through both canvas and lens. As an exclusive treat for art lovers and community members, David Youngman will be performing a live painting demonstration on-site this Sunday. Watch a masterpiece come to life from scratch as David captures the energy, beauty, and spirit of the day through his signature style.

The gallery opening and live painting are part of the annual Fly-In at the Hillsdale Municipal Airport. Bring the entire family out to enjoy the morning events, view beautiful regional aircraft, and experience the airport like never before.

Good afternoon!

Some notes for Sunday's fly-in event:

The Exchange Club has setup a nice tent with tables and chairs for breakfast! If you plan to hang out after to enjoy the car show and take an airplane or helicopter ride, please bring a chair.

The yellow area next to the old terminal is reserved for car show participants only, please. If you plan to setup a booth near the old terminal, please unload your items and move to the blue shaded parking area. If this area fills up with car show vehicles, we will have a second area near the new terminal. You may pull through the gate near the fuel farm and park in the grass.

The blue area is for event parking; everyone is welcome to park in this area! If this fills up, you're welcome to park along the entry road as well.

If you need a handicap parking space, we have two at the new terminal. If those are full and you need assistance, please text 734-660-3357 and we will be more than happy to accommodate!

Exchange Club pancake breakfast from 7AM-11AM.

Car show, all vehicles welcome!

Airplane and helicopter rides!

Airplane rides: $30 per person

Helicopter rides: $40 per person

11AM-TBD Just Dranks Latte Trailer and Shaffy's Treats (hot dogs/steak sandwiches).
