McKenzie Services We offer carton forwarding, item prep, and storage services for Amazon FBA sellers. This way you don’t have to hire more employees or lease warehouse space.

In the past 3 years, we have handled the Amazon FBA labeling and prep of over 678,000 items. We started out as a used book online retailer in 2004, but now we help Amazon FBA sellers with warehouse logistics. Our services offered include FBA product inspection, prep, labeling, processing, storage, and more. We can work with just about any product, and we still work with books as well. We can help

Happy New Year! 🎉

We’ve been having way too much fun with Amazon’s (somewhat new) floor-loaded shipping option. 38 pallets worth of cartons floor-loaded into one truck and delivered to Amazon the very next day… talk about logistics cardio. 💪 Good thing we all said we wanted more exercise in 2026. 😂

👻 Happy Halloween from Mooooooooody and the McKenzie Services Team! 🐄🎃

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted here — but I’m back! I've spent the past few weeks out of the office and in the warehouse with our amazing Ops Team. Getting my hands dirty (and my steps in) to really see what goes into our day-to-day processes.

1️⃣ Tracking is everything. If you can track it, you can measure it — and if you can measure it, you can grow it. We’ve added a few new tweaks to better track our intake times, and the results are already showing.

2️⃣ Efficiency isn’t scary! We’ve implemented a few IT updates to speed up our inventory system and turn-around times.

3️⃣ Lesson learned: Lifting 50 LBS boxes is NOT my calling. 😂

4️⃣ Pro tip: Working in a cow costume = unmatched comfort and team spirit. Highly recommend! 🐮✨

📦 Prepping for Amazon FBA: What Not to Do (And Why You Might Want Help!) 😅

Prepping for Amazon sounds easy… until it isn’t.

From packaging fails to labeling mishaps, one small error can cost you in delays, fines, or worse—lost inventory.

Here are the top FBA prep mistakes we see (and fix) all the time 👇

❌ Inadequate Packaging
Your products will get tossed, dropped, and bumped—pack them tight and ditch the packing peanuts (Amazon doesn’t accept them!).

❌ Labeling Issues
Missing barcodes? Price stickers? No suffocation warning? Amazon will charge you—or reject it.

❌ Skipping Required Prep
No bubble wrap or polybags when required? Amazon will step in, bill you for it, and if they mess up—you’re still on the hook.

❌ Guessing Weights & Dimensions
“Close enough” doesn’t cut it. Bad data = Fines + Delays.

❌ Not Tracking What’s in Each Box

Thinking of using AWD to store and manage your Amazon inventory?

Here’s what you really need to know 👇

✅ The Good:

• Auto-Replenishment: FBA restocks itself? Yes, please.
• Cheaper Storage: AWD > FBA for long-term costs.
• Placement Fees Covered: But you still pay for shipping in.

⚠️ The Bad:

• Shipping Costs Still Yours – AWD doesn't cover inbound shipping.
• Most Locations = LTL Only – Even for small shipments 😤
• Check-In Times Are SLOW – Some sellers are waiting months.
• Strict Rules – No mixed SKUs per box.
• Product Restrictions – No grocery, hazmat, shoes, jewelry, etc.

😬 The Ugly:

• Lost Inventory – Yes, really.
• Slow Replenishment – FBA runs out while AWD inventory just... sits.

📉 AWD might work for you if:
✔️ You ship in bulk
