TEAM HOTEL or TEAM AIRBNB?! 👀👇🏾
I’m sorry, but Airbnb has officially LOST ITS MIND. 😂😂😂
Wasn’t Airbnb supposed to be the CHEAPER alternative to a hotel?!
Because somebody PLEASE explain how the Airbnb is now:
🏠 $347 a night
🧹 PLUS a cleaning fee
💻 PLUS a service fee
💰 PLUS taxes
😭 PLUS three fees they apparently INVENTED while I was clicking “Book Now.”
Then you finally arrive…
CHECK-IN: 4:00 PM
CHECK-OUT: 10:00 AM
EXCUSE ME?! 😭😂
So basically…I rented the house for about 20 minutes.
But WAIT🛑🛑🛑🛑then come the checkout instructions:
“Strip the beds.”
“Start the towels.”
“Load the dishwasher.”
“Take out the trash.”
“Wipe down the counters.”
“Put everything back where you found it.”
“Lower the thermostat.”
“Lock all the windows.”
At this point, should I pressure wash the driveway and cut the grass too?! 😂😂😂

I AM ON VACATION!!! 😭🏖️
How did I go from being the GUEST to being an unpaid member of the HOUSEKEEPING STAFF?!
And THIS is the part that gets me:
YOU ALREADY CHARGED ME A CLEANING FEE!!! 😭
SO WHO EXACTLY AM I CLEANING FOR?!?!
At this point…
🏨 GIVE. ME. THE. HOTEL.
I’m checking in.
Throwing my suitcase on the floor.
Using EVERY towel in that bathroom. 😂
Sleeping until 10:47.
Calling downstairs asking for a late checkout…
AND WALKING OUT.
No stripping beds.
No starting laundry.
No dragging trash to somebody’s dumpster.
No 14-step checkout checklist.
And when I leave, THEY tell ME:
“Thank you for staying with us.” 😂😂😂😂
Airbnb…we need to talk.
Because somewhere along the way, y’all forgot WHICH ONE OF US IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON VACATION. 😭😂
I’m not paying $1,800 for four days just to spend my LAST MORNING doing chores like I’m about to lose my allowance.
