Monday Herrin Restorations 1973 XK 22 Wes Monday leads the restoration team on this vintage Chris Craft XK-22 This XK-22 marks his third full restoration of these vintage fiberglass Chris Crafts.

Wes Monday became a marine technician over 35 years ago and quickly became a master of his craft. His first two XK-22 restorations earned their owners several prestigious first place awards in their categories at the top antique boat regatta in Lake Tahoe, the Concours d'Elegance. After his restorations were shown, Wes became widely known in XK circles and would get called by other owners to answe

r questions about their boats. He is and was always happy to take these calls and help spread information about these beautiful and classic vessels. The Team consists of Paula Monday (The wife that is always right there helping out), Ryan Monday-Herrin (The son-in-law boat restorer in training), and Shelby Monday-Herrin (The daughter keeping everything organized and on track). Well, it's been a while since I have posted and it's been a while since the crew has been able to work! Yes, we have the beautiful blessing of a new baby girl. Today grandpa is back to his now, 2nd hobby, restoring FUBAR.. Wes is rebuilding the engine hatch lid, the fiberglass is laid.

So sad that we are having another cold day in the desert! Fiberglass needs to be 70 plus and here we are another low 50's day. 😏😢
