SGI Helena showing 19 degrees this morning. Terminal Manager Tommy Light checking on barge at the dock. We are closed due to weather and road conditions. Will post when we are able to open back up. Everyone stay safe and warm!

It’s that time of year!!! Urea is flying out of the warehouses! The entire SGI Helena crew has been staying after through the weekends to keep the warehouses full of product. We just keep rolling on the river! 😉.

The 2025 planting season is almost upon us. The SGI Helena crew have been busy preparing for 2025 and putting warehouse 1 back in service for a customer. Soon the all the warehouses will be full and ready to start blending and shipping out. They have also been busy loading barges of grain from the 2024 season. Agriculture….never still!

Always amazed to see these tugs come by the terminal! 8 barges wide and 5 long…40 barges with an average weight of 1800 tons is 72,000 tons of product. 😳. How blessed we are to have the inland waterways of America!

Rain is in the forecast but we are wide open dumping ADM beans into the evening at SGI Helena River Terminal. Our SGI Helena team is always there when our customers need us. Lets get this rain over and get back at this harvest! 🌽🌱🍚☁️.

We will be taking ADM beans starting tomorrow! Hours will be 7am - 5pm. We look forward to seeing all the area farmers and wishing all farmers a safe harvest!
