After much consideration, we have decided to put a big “pause” on Simon’s Surplus Hayward. We believe there are an abundance of food options in the Hayward area right now, and recommend Ruby’s Pantry & Northwoods Community Food Shelf.

We appreciate your support & participation over the last 2.5 years, and would like to thank our team of volunteers for all of their effort and hard work that has made Simon’s Surplus Hayward possible!

There IS a “Simon’s Surplus Ashland” that will continue on the 2nd Saturday of each month and an “SOS Foodshare” in Poplar also on the 2nd Saturday of each month, depending on where you live.

Due to the close proximity to Thanksgiving and Christmas, and lack of volunteer availability, we will NOT be having distributions in November or December.
