This day in 2007 I was woke up at 5am to go to MEPS and swear to defend the Constitution of the United States as an FMF Corpsman in the US Navy. An oath that still is in effect today. I boarded a bus and headed to Great Lakes Recruit Training Command in North Chicago. One of the proudest memories of my life. Can't believe 17 years has gone by so fast.

Check on your buddies all the time. We still sadly lose 22 vets a day to su***de.
