Some nights remind you what really matters. ❤️

For our August Serve Day, the ReliaRide team had the privilege of spending the evening at Jesus Prom at The Chapel in Green, a night dedicated to celebrating individuals with special needs in our community.

This year’s theme was “Under the Stars He Created,” and that’s exactly what we did. 🌟

We danced. We laughed. We hugged. We celebrated. We loved on one another. And for those few hours, nothing else mattered.

There was something so pure about simply being present with each other. No distractions. No worries about what was next. Just dancing, laughing, celebrating, and loving each other’s company exactly as we are.

We may have come to serve, but the night became so much more than that.
What a gift it was to spend a night Under the Stars He Created. 🌟❤️

It was wonderful getting to see the heart behind their work, meet their team, and learn even more about the care and support they provide to children with autism and special needs.

The parade may have been one day, but the heart behind Canton Community Christmas goes so much further. ❤️

We had this dream of taking one of the biggest stages in our community, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Grand Parade, and using it to shine a light on some amazing organizations doing meaningful work right here in our own backyard: Just Like You & Me, Vocal Fusion, North Canton Playhouse, Wishes Can Happen, Caravan of Love, Stark A11Y, The Philomatheon Society of the Blind, and TRIAD Deaf Services.

Eight organizations. Eight very different missions. One community coming together. Each parade entry was dreamed up to bring their mission to life, give these organizations a moment to SHINE, and connect more people to the work they do every single day. Seeing it all come together was pure magic... but what I love even more is knowing this can be just the beginning. ❤️

More organizations. Bigger ideas. More people coming together. More awareness, resources and support reaching the people who need them most. The parade may be over, but you can still be part of it. Earlier this year we went to the GiGi’s Playhouse Gala, made a donation, and walked away with four OSU tickets. 🏈❤️

We knew right away those tickets weren’t staying with us. They were coming back to ReliaRide, to go to someone on our team.

So today we did the drawing… and the winner is Mary B.! 🎉

Mary, go have the best day. You put so much into this team and we’re pumped to send you off to the Shoe.
