We have sad news to share from Ruby's Pantry's corporate office. This applies to all locations across MN & WI (and a couple in IA & ND).
Hartford Ruby's families, we will miss you so! And we're still praying for you, as always!

Over the past several months, we have been thoughtfully realigning the work, structure, and focus of Ruby’s Pantry to ensure our mission remains at the center of everything we do. As part of this process, we have worked to better align community needs with our goal of operating in the most effective and seamless way possible.

As a result, we have decided to end the operations of Ruby’s Pantry effective immediately. We recognize that this is difficult news to receive and do not take this decision lightly.

God has blessed Ruby’s for over 20 years, and it has been an incredible journey. It all started from a vision to help others through a single blessing box. We are truly grateful for your contributions and dedication throughout your time with Ruby’s Pantry. Thank you for the important role you have played on this journey and for the impact you have made in service of our mission

Hi! Below is the list of what's expected (not promised until the truck is unloaded!) for tomorrow afternoon, 4/7/26, at Hartford Bible Church. We will not have any further details about listed items until everything is set up tomorrow. IF there is time, we will post a photo or updates on some items.
Please see the previous post for details about how our Ruby's distribution works.

If there is a line of waiting cars, the the line-up MUST follow this path:
to the east on the north side of Abbott Ave., along Woodlawn park;
then to the south on the east side of Elm St., along Peace Lutheran's property;
then east on the north side of Prospect St., toward Main St.
Please make sure NOT to block any driveways or intersections!
And don't be that person who cuts in the line or jumps ahead of someone who might not be advancing so fast as you think they should...

We're back on schedule for 4th Tuesdays, and the weather looks beautiful for our Hartford distribution -
Tuesday, March 24, 2026!
- a drive-through pick-up at Hartford Bible Church, 621 Abbott Ave.;
- serving Guests from about 3:30 - 6-ish pm;
- anyone can be a Guest at Ruby's, with no residency or income requirments;
- Guests donate $25 (cash only, please) per share, which is two or three large boxes of groceries;
- Guests are welcome to donate for more than one share, for their own household, or to deliver and bless someone else;
- if you have boxes from last time, or any large & sturdy box, please bring them along and our excellent Volunteers will swap them out when loading your share(s) into your vehicle;
- the list of expected items (not promised until the truck is unloaded on Tuesday afternoon!) is usually posted on this page separately the Monday night before our distribution.

Please share this post, tag friends, and ask your questions (except food questions - we just won't know details for sure until Tuesday afternoon)!

Below is the list of what's expected for tomorrow, 2/24/26 (not promised until the truck is unloaded). Details in previous post on this page.
Heads up - there was a malfunction with the freezer at the warehouse and all meat had to be moved to a location that is inaccessible for now.

The weather is expected to be cold, though not crazy-cold. But our Volunteers will still be pretty stretched, so be kind to everyone you see connected to Ruby's!
If you find yourself in a line of waiting cars, the route MUST be:
Abbott Ave. to the east, along Woodlawn Park; then down Elm St. to the south, along Peace Lutheran's property; then the north side of Prospect St. to the east, toward Main St.
Do NOT be the person who cuts in the line, blocks an intersection or driveway, or jumps ahead of a car whom they think isn't advancing soon enough.

This Tuesday! 2/24/26 is our next Hartford distribution, back on track for 4th Tuesdays of the month. Details:
- a drive-through pick-up at Hartford Bible Church, 621 Abbott Ave.;
- Guests served from about 3:30 to 6-ish pm;
- Guests donate $25 (cash only, please) per "share" which is at least two large boxes of donated groceries;
- ANYONE can be a Guest at Ruby's, as there are no income or residency restrictions;
- Guests can donate for more than one share, for your own household or to deliver and bless someone else;
- if you have previous Ruby's boxes or any large, sturdy boxes, please bring them and our fabulous Volunteers will swap them for filled boxes.

A little later start - we have to bag a huge pallet of loose potatoes. And it's COLD!
