Horizon Freight Systems runs intermodal freight that ramps in and out of the NS rails in the Harrisburg area.

We are looking for Owner Operators that have a good safety record and we have recently raised our rates again!

Horizon Freight System has 100 % Owner Operator fleet.

WE OFFER:

OUR REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Must have a valid class “A” Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience operating a tractor-trailer
• No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
• No preventable accidents resulting in fatalities
• No rollover accidents
• No prior DOT drug/alcohol violations
• No DUI's (including implied consent/impairment) in any vehicle within the past five (5) years
• Driving record does not demonstrate an excessive pattern of moving violations
• Background check must not reveal any drug charges
• No felonies or convictions involving the use of a commercial motor vehicle or other transportation related felonies

I was admittedly nervous when we raised our rates for the second time this year. Freight is still as strong as it was before proving the driver shortage. Owner Operators come join us for higher rates and home daily work. Stop hauling cheap freight for companies that haven't adjusted their rates in years.
