As TRAVEL starts to pick up again, more suppliers are starting to require COVID vaccinations. Be prepared as countries establish guidelines and requirements. As U.S. citizens, we are not used to this in many of our more common destinations. However, certain vaccinations HAVE been required in some parts of the world depending where you are and where you have been.

The world has changed. As a world traveler, you must be prepared and willing to follow the guidelines and requirements of your destinations.

Always check the laws and requirements for your layovers and destinations including visas, passports, and vaccination requirements.

If you are considering travel for 2021 and 2022, be prepared to get your vaccines when available and have your information handy.

Closed for 2020 bookings due to Covid-19.

As many of you know, 2020 has been a truly rough year for so many businesses! The Pandemic wiped out travel plans for much of the year, and truthfully, I do not feel comfortable booking any travel dates for the duration of 2020.

I'm still tracking refunds and vouchers, which are taking up to 120 days at this point. I am rebooking cancelled trips to 2021, and doing just a bit of promoting travel for next spring with a few of my trusted brands.

The Alaska cruise tour is on for June 2021.

I personally do not feel comfortable traveling anywhere at the moment, including within the US. The virus is still prevalent, and some people are just not doing their part to help.

I feel a responsibility to my clientss to advise against unecessary travel.

Many countries are not allowing US Citizens in at this time, and I can't predict how the balance of 2020 is going to play out. I don't want to risk client disappointment or more delays in refunds when trips are cancelled.

We can still research & dream and plan for future trips, share experiences and enjoy pictures and memories.

Travelers: The current situation with the COVID-19 virus remains fluid with each supplier having their own timelines, restrictions, and options.

My advice is to sit tight, keep an eye on your emails and stay informed. I am receiving updates daily, from all suppliers that I work with. Most are also sending the information directly to you. Many are allowing very lenient cancellation/postponement options involving future credits, especially for travel dates before May 31st.

I will do my best to keep my clients informed if a specific tour/cruise/or destination is affected and they must reschedule.

Travel Protection Insurance: Read your insurance policies carefully. If you have specific questions, you must call the insurance company directly to determine the best course of action. If you are considering cancelling, you will need to validate your reason. Ask what documents they specifically need. Understand that unless you have a Cancel for Any Reason clause, and you fall within that guideline of purchase date, "Worry" about contracting an illness is not covered.

As always, I encourage all my travelers to purchase Travel Protection, whether as part of their package, or on its own.

It's been awhile since I've posted big, so here's a bit of an update for 2020.

1. So far this year, I'm on a nice European travel booking roll. Europe is my current jam, and there are simply some great options and promos right now with some of my favorite companies. I have a great mix of tours, River cruises, and independent options.
