“Some updates are harder to share than others…”

🍀 An Honest Update From The Irish Pulling Team 🍀

Unfortunately, for what we believe is the first time in nearly 10 years, The Irish Pulling Team will not be attending the Touch-A-Truck event in Rock Falls.

As many of you know, we love this event. It’s always been a great opportunity to meet families, talk pulling, let kids climb on the tractors, and give back to the community that supports us throughout the year.

Unfortunately, we recently discovered an issue with The Leprechaun, and The Angry Leprechaun is still apart in the shop and not ready to travel. As much as we’d like to be there, we simply can’t make it happen this year.

This isn’t the update we wanted to share, but we’ve always believed in being H.O.T. — Honest, Open, and Transparent.

The good news is that we’re working through the issues and doing everything we can to get both mini rods ready for the season ahead. Sometimes that’s just part of motorsports. You keep turning wrenches, solving problems, and moving forward.

We want to thank the organizers of the Rock Falls Touch-A-Truck event for everything they do, and we apologize to everyone who was hoping to see us there.

We’ll keep everyone updated from the shop as we work to get The Leprechaun and The Angry Leprechaun back where they belong.

Today, Chuck and Megan Hobbs of The Irish Pulling Team LLC pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication have given us the freedoms we enjoy every day, the freedom to gather with family, celebrate our communities, and pursue the passions we love.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their memory forward.

From Chuck and Megan, thank you to all who have served and especially to those who gave everything for our nation. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

🍀🏁 UPDATE FROM THE SHOP FLOOR 🏁🍀

Progress continues on The Angry Leprechaun, even if it's not moving quite as fast as we had hoped.

Like many projects, every step forward seems to uncover another detail that needs attention. While things are taking longer than expected, we're committed to doing it right the first time rather than rushing it and regretting it later. Building a competitive pulling vehicle isn't always glamorous, its long nights, problem-solving, measuring, fabricating, and sometimes taking two steps back to move three steps forward.

The good news is that progress is being made, and each completed task gets us one step closer to hearing The Angry Leprechaun come to life and make its first pass down the track.

She’ll be going WIDE OPEN when the 2026 season starts. The off-season work continues in the shop, and we’re getting one step closer to hearing The Leprechaun scream down the track again.

Sometimes the biggest “performance upgrades” don’t come from the machine… they come from the people behind it. 💚🏁

🍀 From the Shop Floor

Some days in the shop aren’t about big progress.

They’re about staring at parts, making a plan, changing that plan, and then realizing the machine usually has the final say anyway.

That’s part of building pulling tractors.

The Angry Leprechaun has taught us patience, problem-solving, and a few new words we probably shouldn’t put on Facebook. 😅

But every bolt turned, every measurement checked, and every setback worked through gets us one step closer.

We may not have unlimited time, unlimited money, or unlimited help…

But we’ve got determination, great people behind us, and a whole lot of love for this sport.

That’ll carry you a long way.
