Many people are carrying great burdens and facing food insecurity right now, and you may be someone asking, "How can I help?" Well, Hannibal has a number of organizations that are helping get food into the hands of those in the greatest need. "But I don't have anything extra to give:( What else could I do?"

Great question! This answer isn't going to be what works for everyone, but it may be something that clicks with you and motivates you to do what you already want (or have been needing) to do.

You may look around your home and think, "I really have too much stuff, but I don't know what to do with it, or I don't have the motivation to deal with it." Would you consider that THIS may be a time where you decide to find a few of those things around your home that you'd be willing to part with, and see it directly benefit someone else?

This is your sign to tackle that little project around the home and find something that you could either SELL (and donate the profits) or DONATE the item/s to an organization or person that could use it right now!

How does this question sit with you? What's the first thing that comes to mind?

This was heard on a Christian podcast, and it was in relation to the Christian life being called to give from whatever we have instead of being only focused on what we need or have received from the Lord. To be a river, not a pond. That, alone, was a good message.

But the question went beyond a Christian perspective and is for each person who reads this. Are you happy with your answer?

Some questions to ask yourself, if you are willing:
- What can I do for others, with what I have?
- Am I holding on to everything I own for dear life, or can my heart let things go?

Life and joy can be found in moving from "hoarding" to "releasing!"

Be blessed as you explore the abundance that comes when sharing with others what you have💛

Hold your loved ones close, and remember that there are many who have lost the closest person in their life in order to be a part of protecting our freedoms. There are many ways our nation is shaking and we are tempted to feel "against" one another, but it is in "united we stand" and "divided we fall" that there are great truths. While you may be going through considerable pain or division in your life today, know that there are those who have accepted the call to put their lives at risk for people to have freedoms to live and believe differently than them.

In honor of those who fought to keep us united and free, and paid with their life (and those who loved you)- thank you. 🇺🇸

Working with people in their homes in this capacity can bring a lot of vulnerability... helping in the "messy" or "we don't talk about this" areas of the house or of life.

The thing I want people to receive when I am working with them (besides hope) is this: grace. Your home is a judgment-free zone- both when I'm there, and when I'm not. What we look through, talk about, emotions, relationships, and anything else that comes up - it stays between us. I am with you to walk through it and bring grace, levity, and help lift the burden.

When you are working on certain projects, it can certainly feel like a "journey" to get through it, and I want you to make sure you're comfortable and supported every step of the way.

You know who you are!
There are plenty of people that love a good container, and I know you see the humor in this 😅
Keep what you want, but know that there is also joy in sharing good containers with others. Letting one go will not hurt as bad as you think💛
