TASC Rides - Transportation Assistance for Seacoast Citizens Connecting Seacoast Communities with free, volunteer-driven rides, TASC Rides helps older and disabled individuals stay independent.

We provide essential transportation to medical appointments, shopping, + more. Volunteer, donate, or request a ride today! TASC is a fantastic volunteer opportunity for busy people who think they don't have enough time to volunteer! Volunteer drivers decide how often they are going to drive---once a week, once a month, once in a blue moon! All ride requests & scheduling are handled by the TASC office. Our Hampton office will be quiet on Labor Day, but some TASC Rides volunteers will still be on the road.
The office will be closed on September 7. Our volunteers will continue providing life-sustaining treatment rides.
We appreciate the drivers who are making time on the holiday for the people who need those rides. Labor Day changes our office hours, but their willingness to drive keeps those rides going.

Considering volunteering in Rye?
We’d love to have you!
TASC Rides volunteer drivers must:
Be at least 25 years old.
Have a valid license and favorable driving record.
Own a legally registered, and insured vehicle.
Complete background and driving-record checks.
After the application is processed, volunteers attend an orientation that takes about an hour and can be completed remotely. Mileage reimbursement is available.

If you think you may need TASC Rides later this fall, register before an appointment or errand is coming up.
Hampton Falls residents may be eligible if they are 55 or older, or if they are adults with a medical disability that prevents them from driving. Registration must be completed before a ride can be requested.
Once registered, call at least seven business days ahead. Ride requests depend on volunteer-driver availability and cannot be guaranteed.

At TASC Rides, we help neighbors stay connected to their communities. World Letter Writing Day on September 1 is a reminder that staying connected can also be as simple as sitting down, writing a few lines, and putting them in the mail.
Share some news. Write down a memory. Ask how they are doing. The letter does not have to be long.
Take a few minutes to write to the person who came to mind when you read the first question.

It's the places you used to visit without thinking.
A drive to the beach.
Sitting on a bench overlooking the water.
Putting your feet in the ocean for the first time that summer.
Losing the ability to drive can quietly shrink a person's world in ways other people don't always see.
While many people know TASC Rides for medical appointments, transportation plays an important role in helping people stay connected to their communities and the places that bring them joy.
On National Beach Day, we're thinking about all the places that make the Seacoast feel like home.

They only know you're home.
Whether someone is returning from a medical appointment, the grocery store, or another planned errand, getting back through the front door is the best part of the trip for your fur babies.
At TASC Rides, every ride has a destination, but every destination is also a return home.
