Our private field is conveniently located on I-90, 45 mins NW of Chicago. Members enjoy glider flight instruction, free access to the club's five gliders, social events and more. We had a once in a lifetime treat on Saturday when Captain Trace Lewis piloted FiFi, only one of two B-29’s still flying and did not only one but three flybys at Sky Soaring. Trace started his flying career flying gliders when he was a young boy. He now flies for a major airline and in his spare time flies for the Confederate Air Force. Thank you Captain Trace for the wonderful opportunity to see FiFi up close.
