Why Batteries Fail:
Modern boats are power-hungry! Between firing up big motors and running advanced electronics all day, your batteries take a beating. Most standard lead-acid batteries are designed to last 4–5 seasons, but only if they are properly cared for.

Bill’s Top Maintenance Tips:
Charge Every Night: The best way to preserve battery life is to plug in your boat charger at the end of every day. Get those batteries back to 100% before your next outing! 🔋

Avoid Deep Discharge: Running your batteries all the way down day after day without a full recharge takes a major toll on their longevity. 📉

Consider an Upgrade: If it's time for a replacement, talk to your dealer about upgrading to a stronger battery to handle your boat's specific power needs.

The Myth: Pulling a fish back and forth helps it breathe.

The Reality: Moving a fish backward causes its gills to flare, forcing water in the wrong direction and potentially drowning the fish. 😱
