Roadlink Express is seeking a skilled and dependable Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and operating at the highest level.
We’re looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who takes pride in quality work and wants a stable, long-term position with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on trailers, chassis, and related equipment
• Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, lighting, ABS systems, wiring, and electrical components
• Conduct preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Repair and replace parts including hubs, bearings, axles, seals, and structural components
• Service trailer flooring, doors, mud flaps, and chassis assemblies
• Perform re**er and heater preventative maintenance and checks
• Test equipment before and after repairs to ensure safety and reliability
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
• Trailer mechanic experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• DOT inspection experience or willingness to obtain certification
• Class A CDL highly preferred
• Ability to work in shop and outdoor environments
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Schedule & Benefits:
