Loading a truck isn’t just throwing everything inside and hoping it fits. You gotta know how to maximize the space, protect the furniture, stack everything the right way and make sure it’s gonna come back out in one piece.

A good moving crew knows how to take care of your belongings AND make the most out of the truck space.

You’re not just paying for someone to move your stuff. You’re paying for the experience behind it.

Today’s challenge: getting a golf cart into a box truck.

We didn’t have ramps that split, so we had to improvise and work with what we had — the box truck ramp + a wallboard to make it work.

This is only Part 1, so I’m just showing you guys the beginning of the process. We’re going to show you exactly how we figured it out and the best way to get this golf cart loaded safely.

Sometimes moving is less about having every tool you need and more about knowing how to improvise when you don’t.

No matter how long the day is, we still show up and get it done. Some days are easy, some days will test you, and some days you’re wondering why you even do this 😂 But that’s part of being a mover. You put your head down, keep pushing, take care of the customer, and finish the job. Long day or easy day, the job still has to get done.

Just another day of making the big and awkward stuff fit in the truck. Treadmills can be a pain to move, especially when you’re trying to protect the equipment, the house, and everything around it.

There’s always more than one way to load something like this, but the goal is always the same: get it loaded safely, keep everything secure, and make sure it’s not moving around during transit.

Movers, how would you load this treadmill? I’m curious to see how everyone else does it👊🏻✅

People who have served in the military seem to have some of the worst moving experiences, and honestly, I think a big part of it comes down to how the movers are treated.

Military moving contracts are some of the worst-paying jobs in the industry. A lot of experienced movers avoid them altogether, which leaves many of these moves to warehouse movers or guys who simply don’t have the same level of experience yet.

And I’ll be honest, I feel like maybe 5% of military customers genuinely show appreciation for the movers. Most of the time, the movers are walking into a home that isn’t ready to be packed or moved.

I understand that you’re being told, “The movers are going to pack and move everything,” but that doesn’t mean the house shouldn’t be cleaned up or that you shouldn’t separate the things you’re taking with you from the things you’re leaving behind.

At the end of the day, it’s a two-way street. Customers deserve good movers, but movers also deserve to be treated with respect and given a reasonable situation to work in.

This is why you let movers pack your boxes and load the truck ‼️‼️‼️

Everything just fits so perfect and smooth when you know how to pack it. Just playing a little box Tetris until we run out of room👊🏻📦. That last box hitting the top was too satisfying. Next time you’re thinking about moving, just hire movers and they’ll take care of everything and that’s how we do it at NextGenRelocation 💯🔥

And you’re right… boxes are square. Congratulations. 💀

But I had a TON of boxes to get out of this house, the house was crowded, and I’d rather get rid of all the boxes early and make room to work.

So yeah, I loaded a whole stack of boxes first and took them all the way to the top. Everything fit tight, nothing is moving around, and I had all the labels facing out so they’re easy to read when it’s time to unload.

Not every load has to look like a complicated game of Tetris just for the comments section 😂

Sometimes you just gotta get the boxes out of the way and keep the move moving.

Movers, y’all already know somebody’s gonna have something to say about this one 👀😂

I already know some movers are gonna call me lazy for this 😂 But honestly, if I can get 30–40 boxes downstairs without carrying them one by one, why wouldn’t I? We’re the ones who packed these boxes, so we know everything inside was packed properly and safely. I’m also always gonna ask the customer if they’re cool with me doing it this way before I start.

I’m not trying to make the job harder than it needs to be. If the boxes are packed correctly, the customer is okay with it, and I’m not damaging anything, I’m gonna use whatever method makes the most sense and saves my back and my time.

Now I wanna hear it from the other movers 👇 Is this actually lazy, or is this just working smarter? Would you carry every box down the stairs, or are you sliding them too? 😂

Today we’re showing you how we movers typically load a truck when we don’t have to load all the way to the top. We have plenty of space to work with, so there’s no need to overpack the truck. We’re loading everything nice and tight so the furniture and boxes stay secure and nothing is moving around during transit.

Movers will usually finish the load with the mattresses, which helps strap everything in and secure the furniture and boxes.
