You never know where you’ll spot an Estes truck! 🚛

While Estes employee and avid bird watcher Amy Morrow was checking in on a pair of ospreys through the Cornell Lab’s live osprey nest cam in Missoula, Montana, she spotted a familiar sight rolling through the background — an Estes truck! Amy shared this screenshot with our Missoula service center and learned that the driver was Mike Schramm and that several teammates also tune in to keep up with the ospreys.

Last month, President and COO Webb Estes appeared on the inaugural issue of FreightWaves Today, where he shared just how much Estes loves freight. So much, in fact, that sometimes we even hug it.

The hosts jokingly challenged Webb to prove it by sending them a pallet they could hug themselves. Estes delivered on that challenge.

When the pallet arrived at the Freightwaves studio, it carried more than freight. It was filled with Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Estes is proud to be a shipping partner for this annual program, helping deliver gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world.

Team Estes recently celebrated the opening of our relocated Buffalo, NY, service center with employees, company leaders, and appearances from our customized Children’s Miracle Network and Alzheimer’s Association trailers. President and COO Webb Estes, Vice President of Sustainability, Culture, and Communications Sara Graf, and Vice President of Human Resources Greg Richardson were among the leaders who joined the festivities.

Our new Buffalo service center features 171 doors, and more than four times the capacity of our previous location. Designed to maximize efficiency and minimize the risk of freight damage or shortages, the facility also supports reliable next-day LTL shipping to Toronto and other destinations throughout Ontario.
