Programs like Eagle Aviators give young people a hands-on look at the incredible world of aviation, from flight training to industry mechanics.

Making Your Next Journey Smoother: Upcoming Changes at EGE

At Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), we are always looking for ways to improve your travel experience. To ensure our facilities keep pace with your needs and to fund upcoming airport improvements, we are updating our parking fee structure this summer.

Beginning June 1, 2026, we are simplifying our parking lot names to make them easier to identify, alongside a modest daily rate adjustment:

Terminal Lot A (Formerly Short Term Lot A): $14/day (previously $10)

Terminal Lot B (Formerly Short Term Lot B): $12/day (previously $8)

Economy Lot (Formerly Long Term Lot): $8/day (previously $6)

While price adjustments are never favorite news, these funds are critical to maintaining the convenience, safety, and efficiency you expect when flying locally. Thank you for your continued support of EGE.

🚨🚨The Eagle County Regional Airport and its Aircraft Rescue Firefighter (ARFF) Team will be conducting live fire training from May 18 through May 22. This training uses a propane-fueled mobile aircraft prop to provide a realistic training experience in a controlled environment. Please refrain from calling 911 if you see flames toward the west end of the airport property. The ARFF department will be training alongside mutual aid departments from across Eagle County🚨🚨

Yesterday, our ARFF team was honored to attend the 24th Annual Ride in Remembrance at Freedom Park, joining our community in honoring the local heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

This event carries special meaning as we continue to remember and celebrate one of our own from the ARFF team, Eric Dean Hill.

Eric was a lifelong Gypsum resident, a United States Air Force veteran, and a dedicated firefighter who served with ARFF, Greater Eagle Fire, and the Gypsum Fire Protection District. During his 19 years of service, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant and mentored countless firefighters along the way. Eric served both his country and his community with tremendous pride, dedication, and heart.

We are grateful for his service and honored to keep his memory alive.

Our Long Term Parking Lot now features new entry and exit gates, designed to make parking more seamless, efficient, and secure. This upgrade brings the lot in line with our other parking areas, creating a smoother and more consistent experience from arrival to departure.

Travelers can expect a more streamlined process and improved reliability as you come and go—so you can focus on your trip, not your parking.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support our community has shown the EGE TSA team.

Your generosity—whether through kind words, donations, or simply showing patience while traveling—has meant so much to the dedicated officers who work hard every day to keep our passengers safe. Your support has truly made a difference.

Update: As of today, Monday, March 30, TSA has received pay and expects to continue being paid through April. At this time, they are no longer able to accept additional donations.

The Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) supports the I-70 interchange improvements highlighted in the Town of Gypsum’s recent video.

Reliable, safe, and efficient access to EGE is critical for our passengers, workforce, and the broader community. As the region continues to grow, strategic infrastructure investments like this will play a key role in keeping people and commerce moving smoothly.

As TSA employees approach their second missed paycheck, we’re reaching out to our community to help support the dedicated team serving travelers at Eagle County Regional Airport.

At this time, the greatest needs for our TSA agents are gas and groceries. Due to federal guidelines, donations must be in the form of gift cards to local grocery stores and gas stations.

Please note: TSA is not permitted to accept VISA or Mastercard gift cards.

All donations will be distributed by TSA supervisors to team members on a rotating basis to ensure fair support.

Information Desk (just inside Door 3, Main Terminal)
Administrative Office (West of the Main Terminal)

🕘Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 3 PM
Saturday/Sunday, Info Desk ONLY
