Been WAY too long since I have been out and flown at the field. Clearly I am doing a great job keeping the page up to date too......... I have done a poor job recently of updating this page and keeping everyone informed of meetings and flying days, but I wanted to be sure and let everyone know about the meeting tonight at 7:30 and also that the scouts will be out to the field before the meeting to watch some flying. Come if you can. If tonight is anything like last night, it will be a great night for some flying. 👍

I have done an awful job the past months about keeping people updated about club events and photos, and for that I am sorry. There is some new news that will affect us all coming down the pipeline this morning. Take it with a grain of salt, but doesn't look good. I even read a few weeks ago that the AMA might just turn over their roster to the FAA... (Who knows though if that is true.) This really could cripple the hobby as we know it... 😁 Thank you US government...

Just got back from a FPV Meet in Colorado this weekend and really had a blast flying, watching, and learning new things. One of the things that stuck out the most to me was their "Spec PopWings" for FPV racing. It's a relatively cheap setup and once they are built and laminated they are basically indestructible (I have a few popwings that are NOT laminated and I already felt like they were tough) I know the 4th of July Fun Day is coming up quick and it would be a rush to get them built before that, but it's doable and there are 3 of them on their way to Guymon now. 😉 I will have mine ready for sure by then and hopefully we can get some more people hooked. I have done a crumby job posting updates to this page recently, but will try and get back on a regular schedule. 😃

COFPV felt it was time that organized FPV racing became a thing. By dictating spec aircraft we are able to level the playing field for some seriously fun racing.

Exciting day at the field. An EPPFPV was rebuilt and getting a maiden flight...... I was trying to run behind and get video but as you can see at the end of the video I might have not kept my camera aimed at it the whole time. Haha. Luckily Isaac stayed focused and captures it all. More video from the day coming tonight or tomorrow hopefully.
