COUNTY OFFICE CLOSURE, Monday, January 9, 2017:

Due to the current storm situation, including the forecast for additional snowfall tonight and tomorrow, and the very stretched snow plowing and public safety resources in the Valley, all non-critical County functions and offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday January 9th. In this instance, critical functions are those necessary to manage the response to the storm and provide public safety services. We want to keep folks off the roads as much as possible, and we won’t be able to ensure safe access to all of our buildings tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we want everyone to be safe during this significant storm event.

Thank you,

Matthew Birnie
Gunnison County Manager
