This was my first large group trip 38 amazing women from all over. We had travelers coming from the Gulf Coast, Palm Springs, Denver, Oakland, Georgia, Jackson, Mississippi, and beyond. These women traveled from across the country to meet in the beautiful Dominican Republic.
This experience stretched me in ways I never expected. I was challenged, pushed, pulled, and forced to grow throughout the entire planning and booking process. There were moments that tested my patience, my problem-solving skills, my leadership, and my ability to communicate effectively.
But growth often comes through experience, and this trip showed me both my strengths and the areas where I still have room to improve. As a travel advisor, I can honestly say this journey taught me valuable lessons about organization, communication, expectations, and leading a group of this size.
I’m grateful for every lesson, every obstacle, every success, and every woman who trusted me with her vacation experience. This group made me a better travel advisor, and because of that, I’m even more excited and prepared for the next large group adventure.
Growth isn’t always comfortable, but it is always worth it. Here’s to learning, improving, and continuing to create unforgettable experiences for women who are willing to say yes to travel, connection, and adventure.
