That wall is curved. On purpose. And it's still going to be solid concrete.
Melbourne, Brevard County. A radiused ICF wall running into a raked gable end, scaffold set, opening bucked, everything braced and checked before anything gets poured.
Curves are where ICF stops being LEGO and starts being a trade. Straight runs are straightforward — anyone can stack a straight wall. A radius means cutting and kerfing the block so it holds a true arc, keeping the core continuous through the curve so the concrete flows without a void, and bracing the whole thing against a pour that wants very badly to push it back to straight.
Get that wrong and you don't find out at layout. You find out at the pour, when the wall bows and there's about ninety seconds to do something about it.
This is the part nobody photographs and nobody sells. The finished house gets the glamour shot. The reason the finished house is right is this — the plumb checks, the bracing, the block prep, the hour spent on a detail that will be invisible forever.
Most people see the wall. The work is here.
