The Club Barbados

Yes, another small boutique property on the west coast of Barbados. This is a 4 star resort, and it prices out really well, one of the best priced all-inclusive resorts in Barbados.

There isn’t much here in terms of a beach, they have stairs into the ocean, and it’s very swimmable in this area, but this resort is best for guests that want an affordable, clean and comfortable place to sleep, a couple restaurants to enjoy, a super cute little piano bar for evening entertainment and more than anything - a close walk to lots of shopping and restaurants outside the resort.

The room that I thought was the most amazing was the oceanfront walkout rooms, they had prime oceanfront seating that was specific to that room, and views that were totally unforgettable.

For the right client - this will be a home run, but it isn’t for everyone. If you are looking for a bigger resort with lots of restaurants and amenities, this would not be the right fit. But if all you need is a spacious room, a great pool, and that Barbados sunshine - you have a winner!

Seabreeze Barbados

I was able to see this beautiful resort on Monday, and even after it started sprinkling it was still lovely!

Seabreeze is another small boutique resort on the south shore of Barbados. This resort is ideal for the client that wants to relax, and would consider themselves a beach person. The beach here is lovely, and the pool is small. The dining options all offer exceptional service, and I was able to enjoy lunch here and can vouch for the food being authentic and delicious.

This resort is family friendly, and has connecting suite options that can sleep up to 8 people, so definitely an option if you are traveling as a large family.

Waves Resort and Spa is a boutique property on the west coast of Barbados.
It is all-inclusive, and half of the resort is family friendly, but they also have a totally separate section that is adults-only with its own lagoon style pool.

This resort is very small, and is lacking amenities that you would usually see at larger resorts. But, it does offer very laid-back Caribbean charm, a strong focus on wellness and tranquility, and gourmet dining. The little slice of beach was picture-perfect!!!

While they allow children, I personally would not bring children as they don’t have any activities that would entertain children. I would consider the ideal guest to be someone who is looking to completely unplug, and wants something small and peaceful.

🚨 OUT OF THE OFFICE 🚨

I am headed out this Sunday for a 5 day tip to Barbados! Royalton Vessence Barbados has kindly offered to host myself and a small group of travel agents this week.

I will be staying at Royalton Vessence Barbados as “home base” but I will also be seeing about a half dozen other resorts during my trip, as well as doing some research on local culture!

I cannot wait to share with you all of the different properties and experiences!

However, per usual, when I am on these trips, our itinerary is packed - even the “downtime” is scheduled. I will not have many opportunities to answer messages, and I have zero ability to take or make phone calls.

If you are a client traveling during this time, please reach out to me via text, Facebook messenger or email.

If you are a client, but are not traveling, please understand that I will reply to you when possible, but when I agree to attend these trips, I agree to give it my full attention and participation.

Need to use that PTO before the end of the year? This package is the perfect little 5 night getaway on early December!

Grand Palladium Jamaica was one of my favorite resorts that I visited during my 2024 trip. Just the grand entrance to the resort let me know this place was special.

I was amazed at the number of pools, recreational options, restaurants and different beaches that were located throughout the resort. The spa ($ extra cost) was amazing, and the overall vibe of the resort is laid back, but still offers a quiet elegance. It is all-inclusive, and family friendly, but some adult-exclusive areas exist around the resort.

🌴 Last Minute Thanksgiving Getaway! 🦃

Need to just escape this Thanksgiving holiday? This is a great deal for 3-5 people, staying at the sprawling Marina El Cid Resort complex.

This resort complex is close to the Cancun airport, has 3 resorts where you can dine, and enjoy the pools and entertainment. Each resort within the complex has its own unique personality, but all of them offer great value.

We stayed here in 2023 and had so much fun, the family pool with jumping spring and waterslide was a big hit - and the abundant wildlife that lives around the property is sooo cool! The beach here is not great, it is very rocky and they have installed barriers to keep the seaweed at bay. But this resort has so many amazing features that, if you are not an ocean swimmer, this is still a great opportunity for an all-inclusive vacation over a holiday week that is actually affordable!
