Attention lower CT River boaters! The Baldwin Bridge State Boat Launch will be closed from May 27 through June 12 to allow for the installation of a new docking system. We apologize for the inconvenience.

In coordination with CT DEEP, the Old Lyme Harbormaster, and project superintendents from O&G/Tutor Perini, the Slow No Wake zone has been relocated and now begins 500 feet south of the bridge.

All bridge spans currently contain pilings or barges positioned within the center of each span. All hazards have been marked with solid red lights, and all barge corners are marked with solid white lights.

Mariners are advised that currents may swirl unpredictably around these obstructions. Vessel traffic is strongly recommended to transit only within the Federal Channel (the drawbridge opening span).
